And if all the world was perfect, I would only ever want to see your scars

the japanese know how to pack a cute lunch!

Still sick. What's new?
Nothing.

I read the book The Doctor's Wife for my Japanese Women's Literature class. It was a good read. Hard to put down and I recommend it.
I'm currently reading Masks for the same class. It's a little harder to read but kinda interesting.
The Japanese culture is very mystical as a whole.
I quite enjoy Stephen Colbert's take on the Shinto religion. He likens it to that of Pokemon.
I'm just going to put this out there...If I were a Pokemon I would be Snorlax...or Gloom.
Especially right now.

I've also been reading Stephen Colbert's book I Am America (And So Can You). It's hilarious.

I have to give an informative speech in my Presentational Speaking class on Monday. I think I'm going to inform my class on Chip-tune music. I think it's going to be an interesting subject to give a speech on. We'll see how that one goes.

I have also agreed to be a judge at my school's improv comedy night on Monday. I hope I'm well enough by then because I don't want to be all "Paula Abdul" up there, slurring my speech and drooling.

In more hair related news, I will be getting a trim this week. My hair has grown out to a disgusting length and needs to be tamed. I don't really have a style in mind, I just need it out of my face.

I started watching this season's Amazing Race because Mike White and his father Mel are on the show. They are father and son who are both writers and Gay. I thought Mike White was Bi but on the show he clearly states that he is Gay. His father Mel is also a pastor for a GLBTQ church! I'm also rooting for Team Luke and Margie. Luke is deaf and his mother, Margie, is his translator. The best moment of the first episode for me was when the show's host signed to Luke and Margie that they were in 1st place for that part of the competition!!!

Future Husband:

James Spader
This man only gets hotter with age.

He was amazing in The Secretary!
