I HATE YOUR BLOG!

I've been hella busy lately.
I got a super sweet job working as a buyer trainee at the new Buffalo Exchange that opened up in San Antonio.
We've been open for a little over a week now and things have been going good.

It's strange how I see people that I never even knew existed in this town as soon as the store opened. It's as if they crawled out of the wood works just to visit the store.

My friend Nati opened up a Goth Industrial Rave store in Cross Roads Mall. It's called Nine Tails and I think you should give it a look. It's quite interesting. I might take some pics of the store to show on this blog.

And the only other thing that has happened to me lately is that I got a haircut and dyed my hair purple, pink, and teal to match my love for all things Lisa Frank.

Oh! And to celebrate getting hired at Buffalo I bought a pair of these amazing boots:

oh the things you miss when you're fast asleep...

Well You Wanted A Post, You Gotta Post

You know it's a bad thing when your friends remind you that you need to update your blog. Saying sorry won't make up for these tardy posts.

What have I been up to?
Work.
On-line courses.
Nathan.
Friends.
Learning How to Face Paint!

This is my face paint design of Pikachu! I use Mehron Paradise paints. I bought 5 color palettes off eBay because I wanted to start a small clown business. Nothing big. Just kids parties and church festivals. I'm thinking of calling it Straight Up Clownin'.

I saw my boyfriend's band From The South perform a show this past Saturday.
Here are some pictures I took. It was a really cool show and a lot of family and friends came out to support.

Nathan, looking epically sexy!

The day after that I saw Jason Castro perform at the White Rabbit. I counted and this is the 7th time I've seen him. And it never gets old. I'm always left wanting more.

He played another awesome show and talked to all of his fans afterward. I was really happy that he remembered me. He meets hundreds of people at every show but I feel like I left an impression. Except he always thinks I'm from Houston! Haha. Whatev.

I want to thank all the people who have been following me. And a special thanks to Kim Smith for choosing me as her Thursday Traveler Spotlight Blog. I'm happy to keep you entertained Kim and thanks for recommending my blog!
Check out Kim's blog:

I never mentioned that during SXSW this year I went to see Karen Elson perform. I met her afterward and she was a wonderful person. I told her all about how my brother loved her and she autographed a paper for him. The note said
Dear Albert,
Much love and Darkness
Karen Elson
XOXO

Karen is so lovely. I'm going to buy her album when it comes out this week!

And in that same week I met Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters. Frank and I got to see them perform the last night of SXSW. It was an amazing show. I'm very lucky to have seen them perform live.

It was an unusually cold day during Spring Break, that's why we are all bundled up. If you are a long time reader of my blog you might remember that I used to do a thing called "Future Husband". Well I can add Jake Shears to my list of Future Husbands I've already met!

I also met Margaret Cho that very same night!

Is it bad to say that I liked her better when she was chubbier? Well she's a great comedian either way.

The House That Vintage Built

Nathan spent the day with me at Vintage House again and helped me take photos of a few of my favorite pieces of clothing from the store.

This mu-mu is great and compliments my dark hippie look but it is far too long for my short frame, unfortunately. It is also kinda see-thru but that adds a sexy appeal lol!

I plan on buying this cute blouse. Nathan loved it on me.

This coat was a gift from Karla, the store owner.

I wasn't crazy about it at first but when I put it on I fell in love!! It is so cute.

There was something about this mod dress that just ached to be tried on. It was a bit small for me but I like the collar and bow detail.

This was my favorite dress to try on. I love it. I was also going for a Kinder-whore look here. It is really flattering on me and I just might buy it.

Nathan liked the messy pig tails.

This Place Is A Dead Zone

Hello Readers!
yep...all 39 of you. Hahhaha.
I'm sure there are a few more readers or way less actually.
So not very much updating since that last post, huh?
Well I'm busy with school and work. Yes, I work.
I've actually been working at a vintage store in San Antonio called Vintage House.
They have been open for a year and a half now and it has been really fun working here.
I do a little bit of everything.
I'm actually blogging from work right now.
And I think the store is starting their own blog soon so I will most likely be helping them with that too.

I have also been spending time with Nathan, the love of my life.
The above picture was taken at Vintage House where he spent the day keeping me company at work.

Currently Listening to: Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Man"
didn't know this song applied to me till now
"I gotta man that makes me wanna KILL!!"
and that he does.

I'm perfectly fine adapting to my "Dark Hippie" lifestyle.
urb dictionary defn: a person who follows both the Gothic scene and the neo-Hippie movement. People in it believe in the neohippie ideology, peace, love ect. but they also have the dark out look of the goths. death, vampires ect.
