Darker My Love

today was a thrifting day...as well as a school day, unfortunately.
abe, frank, and i went hunting for souls to join our cult but ended up just finding useless things at the Goodwill outlet.
We also made a trip to our local beauty supply store looking for some more bleach to feed our addiction as well as toner/mixer. I plan on going a nice shade of cotton candy pink and i need a toner/mixer to get the right color.

You never know what you'll find at the Goodwill Outlet. Frank found some bloody tissues in the parking lot outside. Naturally he collected the blood to use for the dark arts. He is a seventh level Pagan Witch...but only a level two vegan :/

We found docs for days but didn't buy a single pair.

abe took this photo of us lounging in the dressing room, summoning shadow demons and upsetting the Mexican men who walked by.

I'm practicing my look for the Real World casting call. I'm going to be the overweight witch who pisses everyone in the house off by using the ouija board in the confessional and leaving crystals in the hot tub!

Don't Let It Rot

Keep San Antonio Lame.

I went home on Wednesday. (missed a show)

Saw my niece for the first time on Thursday. (so precious)

Becca-Bear spent time with Frank and I on Thursday night. (we hatched a plan)

Friday morning found us at a young man's house dropping off a letter and some gushers. (there are so many gems in San Antonio)

Frank and I hit up 3 thrift stores before the sun went down. (we were exhausted)

That night we headed to The Gig to watch Marcus Rubio and the Gospel Choir of Pillows. (possibly one of the best local bands)

Frank, Becca-Bear, and I traveled there together and met up with a young fellow by the name of Nathan. (he's something of a legend)

In the end we all got what we wanted.

Make Time Each Day To Pray

i miss you old friend... i can't wait to hear good things from you.

you know that feeling you get when you fall asleep in the middle of the day and you wake up and it's night already and you feel like you just wasted the WHOLE day?!!
yeah i got that.
the only way to redeem yourself is to get out of bed and do two nights worth of homework in one night.

I made a shoe for my Costume Design recently. It's made of foamy clay and looks like a jaw bone with teeth and a chicken bone heel. I'm not too proud of it. I imagined it would be a lot cooler.

i have never wanted to live in california as much as i do now. or as much as i will when coachella rolls around. this years lineup is pretty epic. it's better than last years ACL and probably this years SXSW combined.

i went out to a party this weekend. it was weird and so uncommon of me. so much so that people were surprised to actually see me there. it was a birthday party for my friend kenny. it was also civil war themed. possibly one of the coolest themed parties recently. i had a decent sober time.

I've been learning to knit recently. Just the other day I bought a proper pair of knitting needles and some brightly colored yarn. I tried to find good yarn at the thrift store but I wasn't about buying for color over texture. And I thought about unraveling a sweater with good yarn but that takes time and I wouldn't want to ruin a perfectly good sweater to make something dumb like a plain scarf. And a beginner's scarf at that.

I wish I had some cool yarn like this.

I don't want to knit lame things like shawls and blankets....unless they are rad of course.
My knitting hero is Twinkie Chan. She makes the most awesome knit/crochet accessories.

Future Husband:

ok so if i were a tranny...i'd marry Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters
there are a lot of gay or questionable men on my list of "future husbands". i have no other way to explain that except that i just really like gay guys!!
oh and by the way i'd be a voodoo shaman tranny that wore heels made of bone and hair.
just thought i'd throw that in.

Let Your Fiber Show

Ugh. I can't register for classes until I pay the educational vampires that I call St. Edward's University.
I miss Frank and his scarf Fibrola. Seriously, she was like the best scarf EVER. And she only ever looked good with his mystical Unicorn tee.
If you ask someone if they are the Devil, and they freak out...chances are they're the Devil.

My new style icon might be Mickey Mouse ...or Luke Skywalker. I've seen someone around campus wearing a Yoda backpack. And a Chewbacca backpack.

Possible travel locations: Tulsa this Thanksgiving, Dallas in December, Marfa next May, London a year from now.

I will never be a wunderkind.

When I am older I will start a recycling center in San Antonio, Texas. It will be like The Free Store of Haight-Ashbury. People will be able to donate their unwanted items and take anything they want for free. I'm not sure how I will pay the bills with this recycling center but I know it is exactly what San Antonio needs. Maybe I will rent space out for events and live music and charge an entrance fee in order to keep the free store running.
Comment me if you are interested in starting a free store in San Antonio. Austin is too advanced for this kind of thing even thought it might work better.

Magic? I'll show you magic.
